Function center

At Torrens Rowing Club you are given the freedom to decorate the room as you wish. You will have access to the venue to allow you to setup.

Our spacious and historic function room has a balcony with bi‑fold doors. These can be opened up on warmer nights to give your guests a beautiful view across the Torrens River to Angus Gardens.

On cooler nights, stay warm with the air‑conditioning. The room can also be sectioned to create a more intimate feel for smaller groups with our black section curtains.

Bar

Beer bottles

We have a fully stocked bar with a select range of beer and cider, including Coopers, Coopers Light, Carlsberg, Sapporo, and ciders from the Hills Cider Company.

Wine

Wine bottles

We offer a selection of wines and are fully licensed for wine, spirits, beer and cider. Whatever your needs, we have you covered.

Food

Food plates

We have kitchen facilities if you wish to self-cater. Or you may choose your own caterer. We can provide plates and cutlery for up to 100 people

Accessibility

Accessible parking is available right out front and we provide a wheelchair friendly ramp to our function centre space and balcony. Accessible facilities are available within the function centre.

Catering

You may self-cater or arrange a caterer for your function. The Torrens Rowing Club has a kitchen available for your use free of charge. Our kitchen has a gas cook top, oven, microwave and a fridge.

Entertainment

The function room at Torrens Rowing Club has ample space for your preferred entertainment be it a live band, DJ or dance floor.
Please confirm entertainment details with the Function Manager.

All events

Use of our venue for any event includes a 5 hour service period, half hour set up and pack down of the bar and the cleaning after the event.

Drinks service

Arrange a pre-determined bar tab at the beginning of the function to have all selected drinks served until the limit has been reached.
Alternatively, your guests can pay for drinks at the bar. A current Drinks Menu can be provided on request.
Some BYO wine and champagne is available with prior arrangement. A corkage fee will apply. Local licensing laws require that alcohol is served only by a responsible entity of the venue.

Extended service

For service periods longer than 5 hours, the charge depends on the number of staff required.
There is an additional surcharge for service between 12:00 am and 1:00 am for any type of event.
